1. Cellcom Marathon Water Station -             Thank you very much for everyone who came out and helped with the Cellcom Water Station this year.  We actually had more volunteers then t-shirts so I apologize about that.  Please sign-up for this event as early as possible.  When I had to order t-shirts I had only 50 signed up but received 70 shirts. And that was not enough. Next year’s Marathon, should be Sunday, May 17, 2015.  Please plan to come help out next year
2. Upcoming Meet entries – Pabst Farms Summer Classic entry has been sent in. The final entry list and entry fee list are posted on the website. Please take a look at the meet information. I’ll pass along more info when I receive it from the host team.

I just opened up the FCY Birdbath Entry today. (registration  deadline is Sunday, June 22).

Fox Cities Y Summer Classic (registration deadline is Sunday, June 1.

WGLO - USA and Qualified swimmers only (registration deadline is Sunday June 8).  

GBY Friday Night 50’s meet (registration deadline is Sunday, June 8). The job sign-up should be available soon.  We will need all team members to participate in this meet and will need parents to work the meet.

1. Assorted Notes

• There will be both a Friday afternoon and Saturday AM practice this week but no practices on Monday, May 26, due to Memorial Day.  Have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day Weekend! 
• Escrow Accounts – Please ensure that you have taken care of all balances.  I will put all the stroke clinic charges in this week.  Remember that families will not be allowed to enter into swim meets with a balance owed on your escrow account.
• The Next Parent Group Committee is Monday night, June 2, 2014.  All Parent Group Committees are held from 5:30-7:00pm, in the 2^nd floor lobby area of the DT Y.  Parent Group committee members are Lynn Anderson – Facilitator, Jill Zablocki – Meet Director, Annjie and Mark Nowak – Food Service, Bob Howe & Amy Wolf – Equipment, Tim Van Gheem – Financial, Heidi Neverman – Awards Banquet & Recognition, Scott & Heidi Socha – Social & New Family,  Jeff & Beth Gahnz -  Marketing, Pat Stoa – Senior/National Team.
• Please remember to scan your membership cards when entering any YMCA
• Please remember to take a soap shower before entering any YMCA pool.
• Please remember that the GBY swim team is a part of the GBY Gymnastics Scrip program.  If any family is interested in earning some extra money for their escrow accounts should check out the Scrip program.  Scrip information is under the documents tab on the web site.
• Please ensure that you keep ample monies in your escrow accounts.  A swimmer will not be allowed to enter in a meet unless they have the monies in their escrow account to cover the meet fees. The website is set up to make sure that you have monies in your account when you enter a meet.  All escrow fees may be paid at the DT Y front desk, or by calling the DT Y front desk to pay by phone. Thank you to everyone for keeping up with your escrow accounts. Please do not wait until it is too late to get money into your account.  All information for your escrow account may be found under your account page on the website. And please keep ample monies in your escrow account to cover all upcoming charges.  All meet entry fee charges are done on the Monday following the meet.   If by chance you cannot enter a meet because of your escrow account. E-mail Coach Dave with your swimmer’s entry numbers by the entry deadline date and I will get them into the meet.
