About Mako Aquatics

Mako Aquatics is a 501(c)3, board run swim team.  We are members of Minnesota Swimming and USA Swimming (the national governing body of competitive swimming in America). We were established more than 25 years ago and have been under the leadership of Head Coach/CEO Bob Young since August 2012.
 

Our Coaching Staff

All of our coaches live and work in Hudson and are members of USA Swimming and lifeguard, CPR and Safety Training for Swim Coaches certified as well as Athlete Protection and Concussion Training. Additionally, each undergoes an initial and ongoing background check.  Our coaches attend seminars and clinics to keep up to date with the latest techniques in swimming.

We are committed to serving the student athletes in Hudson, Wisconsin and the surrounding communities through a Hudson, Wisconsin based program where Novice through nationally ranked swimmers enjoy a great swimming experience from a premier USA Swimming organization.

We are committed to serving the student athletes of Hudson, Wisconsin and its surrounding communities by creating the only Hudson, Wisconsin based competitive aquatics program; providing a quality, competitive and safe swim environment and at every level emphasizes individual and team growth. We are committed to excellence and improvement through an appreciation and knowledge of the sport by teaching self-discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship to our athletes.
