The Washington County Fair is July 16-20!

Every year the Water Sharks give back to the Y by helping to staff the Y concession stand at the Washington County Fair, along with other Y volunteers. It is our way to show appreciation for all the support that the Y gives to the Water Sharks swim team, including a financial contribution to our swim team.  Please consider signing up to help - there are many time slots to choose from, and you're sure to find a time that works for you.  We are using a google doc for this sign-up.

Here's what you need to know:

• Parents are encouraged to sign up, but KIDS CAN HELP TOO!  As long as your child can stay on task and stay calm (it gets busy!), they are welcome to help.  Please use your parental judgment to determine whether your child is capable of helping out... they may not have an exciting job (maybe filling pop cups during busy times), but there is probably a job they will be comfortable doing. 
• The Y's stand is located near the barns, west of the old school house.  They have tents and a picnic table near the stand.  Please come in the door near the back... there is only one door. 
• If you plan to enjoy the fair before or after your time shift, please purchase a ticket or a pass.  Week long passes are available.  We want to support the Y, but we also want to financially support our county fair.
