What a weekend in Calgary at the Sandy Ferris Cascade Meet. We had 15 athletes attend the meet, with some making finals each night. We had a WILD meet this past Sunday! We had 28 swimmers attend and 6 new swimmers try out their first meet. There was a lot of energy at the meet which we saw come out in their races. Provincial Trials SC Feb 24-26, 2023 Really fun weekend away in Calgary for our Provincial qualifiers, as Riptides showed up and showed out! Lots of finals across the board, huge, best times, medals, and SC club records tumbling! Great weekend in Calgary for Novice! We had 15 athletes participate in the UCSC Crazy hat meet. Despite not being able to dive (very shallow pool) they swam fast! We had many personal bests and great swims throughout the day. For some novice swimmers it was their first fly races or 100m FR races. All the work on the fly last week paid off well.
