Beginner swim lessons are for all swimmers who are looking to learn to swim, from those completely new to the water up to those who have some basic abilities but are not yet comfortable in water over their head. We will group the children initially based on their age and past experience in lessons. During the first lesson, our instructors will evaluate the children to ensure they are in the appropriate skill level. This will help us offer the best experience possible for all swimmers in each group. Beginner lessons will focus on the fundamentals of swimming, including floating on their front and back, controlling their breathing, kicking, and the basics of swimming independently through the front crawl. As swimmers progress through the lessons, they will work their way into higher skill groups and then can be evaluated for the intermediate classes.

Intermediate lessons are for those who possess basic water skills such as floating and doggy paddle with some ability to move independently in the water. The swimmer should be comfortable in water over their head and able to return to the wall if they jump in from the side of the pool. During the first lesson, our instructors will evaluate the children to ensure they are in the appropriate skill level. This will help us offer the best experience possible for all swimmers in each group. Intermediate lessons are conducted in small groups of 4-6 kids with an instructor. Intermediate lessons will focus on breathing while swimming, fundamental of kicking, and introduce the front crawl (freestyle) and back stroke. As swimmers progress through the lessons, they will work their way into higher skill groups and then can be evaluated for the advanced levels and if they wish, join the swim club to advance their skills even further.
