Coaches and Directors
Coach Jonathan brings over 15 years of coaching experience in Ultimate at Shippensburg University before diving into the world of competitive swimming. Now a certified USA Swimming head coach, he leads both the Shippensburg Area Senior High School Swim & Dive team and the Shippensburg Aquatic Club. He brings a competitive spirit with a focus on teamwork and individual growth, both in and out of the pool. During practice, you'll often find him dancing on the pool deck, doing his best not to distract the swimmers (too much).

Coach Alyssa is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University and a current graduate student at Shippensburg University, where she is a member of the swim team. She has fourteen years of swimming experience and has several years of experience as a swim coach. Coach Alyssa has worked with swimmers of all ages and levels, bringing a positive attitude and a focus on technique, confidence, and steady improvement to every practice.

Coach Kristin is a current student at Shippensburg University, where she was a member of the swim team for three years. She has sixteen years of swim experience at the club, YMCA, USA, and high school level and has three years of coaching experience. Coach Kristin has worked with swimmers of all levels including swim lesson students to high school level athletes bringing a competitive edge while keeping things fun. In her free time, coach Kristin enjoys all aspects of water sports and traveling.

Coach Deb has been coaching since 1999 and has been part of the
Shippensburg swim community since 2005. A former high school
and college swimmer, she now serves as an assistant coach for both
the Shippensburg Area Senior High School Swim & Dive Team and
the Shippensburg Aquatic Club. When she’s not on the pool
deck, Deb is a full-time elementary teacher. She brings
consistency, calm, and plenty of encouragement to every
practice.

Coach Grace Reagan is an undergraduate student at Shippensburg University, where she is studying elementary education and was a member of the swim team for 3 seasons. She has 13 years of swimming experience and 5 years as a coach. Coach Grace has worked with swimmers at all levels and prides herself in sharing her love for the sport with children.<\p>

Coach Kelsey has been swimming for almost 25 years and coaching for about 5 years. She swam in high school, on clubs teams, with USA swimming, and in college. Now she swims for fun and coaches to help kids see their potential in and out of the water.

Coach Katelyn has been coaching with the Shippensburg Aquatic Club since 2022. She grew up swimming for the team and was part of the Shippensburg High School swim team. Katelyn spends her time as an elementary teacher when she’s not coaching. She brings a strong competitive drive and passion for swimming and experiences great joy in connecting with swimmers during practice.
“The measure of who we are is how we react if something doesn’t go our way.”
Coach Madalyn has been swimming for the Shippensburg Aquatic
Club since 2013. She is going into her senior year at SASHS where
she will swim for her fourth year in high school. When she’s
not swimming, she’s usually reading or spending time outside.
She brings a smile to practice and enjoys helping young swimmers
foster their love for the sport.
