School records will be split into two categories from 2018-19. Information about the records can be seen below:

1. BPS Team Records - Only swimmers competing for BPS at a meet appearing on the school calendar are eligible. BPS will undertake all related admin. These records will be updated on an ongoing basis by our electronic system.

2. BPS All-Comers Records - All swimmers who are enrolled at BPS are eligible regardless of which team they are competing for or at which meet. In order to claim the record the swimmer must submit an electronic event file from the event host (if available) or a copy of the event results signed by the referee. Due to the processing time required for these records they will be published biannually only.

Criteria for BPS Team Records

- In order to for a time to be considered for school records, swimmer must be swimming for BPS TigerSharks or Bangkok Patana School.

- BPS TigerSharks follow a comprehensive yearly competition plan, for swimmers to take part in. These meets are the primary focus for swimmers to claim team records.

- Students can claim an individual record in their own age group or in the Open category. They cannot age-up to claim other age group records (Eg: A 12yr old swimmer can claim the 11 - 12yr record and the Open record but not the 13 - 14yr or 15 & Over record).

 - Swimmers who compete in junior or senior international meets, must qualify for the event swimming as a TigerShark for results at said meets to be used (eg. A swimmer who qualifies for SEA Age Groups must qualify for the national team whilst representing PTS).
