Congratulations to our 2022-23 Award Winners and all of our Aquajets for a great season!

 

Most Improved Awards:

This award recognizes all areas of development year over year, including pool performance, dedication to swimming, attitude and team spirit.

2022-23 Winners:

  • Joe Macartney Trophy (8 & Under) – Wesley Brown
  • Ladies Auxiliary Trophy (9-10 year olds) – Chiara Sperduti & Claire Fitzpatrick
  • Ladies Auxiliary Trophy (11-12 year olds) – Aubrey Ireland & Kaylin Shea
  • Ladies Auxiliary Trophy (13-14 year olds) – Liam Bassin
  • Ladies Auxiliary Trophy (15 & Older) – Emiliano Cardenas-Granados

 

Best Race:

This is given to a swimmer who performs a race achieving a best time, makes a qualifying time, places in a top spot or is just generally an exciting race over the season.

2022-23 Winner: Jack Gray (400 IM GMAC Swim Meet)

 

Dr. Grandy Award for Dedication:

This is awarded to a swimmer who has excellent attendance at practice and meets, shows up on-time and puts an outstanding effort in to their improvement day in and out.

2022-23 Winner: Abigail McGhee

 

Aquajets Perseverance Award: 

This is awarded to a swimmer who has shown the drive and desire to capture success after dealing with an injury or challenging situation over the season.

2022-23 Winner: Brielle McLellan

 

Wilson Leadership Award:

This award recognizes an individual that excels in a leadership role as a swimmer and/or coach.

2022-23 Winner: Ella Caron

 

Sherri Fleishhauer Team Spirit Award:

This award is given to a swimmer who shows a constant force of positivity and encouragement for teammates. Recipients are cheerleaders during swim meets and practices and are eager to help coaches and other team mates be their best selves!

2022-23 Winner: Hannah Johnson

 

Ron Campbell “Soup Can” Award:

This is given to a swimmer, parent or coach who truly exemplifies the “Aquajet way”, promoting a positive culture within the team, creating an environment that is positive, inclusive and healthy.

Swim-a-Thon Top Fundraisers:

This is awarded to the Top 3 Fundraisers for the Club’s annual Swim-A-Thon, in appreciation of their outstanding work and support of the Club.
