Financial Assistance Programs for Atheletes

Halton Hills Blue Fins have been made aware of several organizations that provide financial assistance to young athletes. The criteria is different for each, but if this would be of benefit to your swimmer(s), or if you have children in other recreational and competitive sports, please check them out.

Jumpstart (applications are closing soon)

Kid Sport – offers individual grants through their local chapters, more information is available at https://kidsportcanada.ca/ .

Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) offers an athlete sports subsidy program for high school students;https://www.ofsaa.on.ca/programs/student-athlete-sports-subsidy/ . Elementary level support may be available through the school; individuals should reach out to the Guidance or Head of Phys. Ed to see what options may be available.
