“NEW” Dec 10- 15 Blue Fins Helping in the Community Drive.
This year, HHBF has partnered with Halton “Women's Place as part of our club's commitment to supporting the Community we swim in.
For the next week, we will be participating in the Holiday Sponsor-a-Family holiday giving event at Halton Women's Place. We are asking Blue Fin families who feel able to support this campaign by donating a gift card/s of any amount to any of the places noted below. Please bring in your gift card starting Tuesday, December 10th - December 14th and drop off to Kate May between 6pm and 8pm.

AGM SAVE THE DATE AND BOARD NOMINATIONS
Until January 7, 2025, HHBF is accepting Board member nominations for the 2025/26 season, positions commencing August 2025. The nominations sheet (found HERE) contains a detailed overview of the roles. If you are interested in a role, put your name in the nominee section of that role. Participating as a Board member fulfills the entire annual volunteer hours requirement. AGM date January 22, 2025.

There is an Intro to Officiating Clinic (Timekeeper/Safety Marshal) available coming up!

You must first be registered as an official (see below!)

Once registered as an official, https://canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login and go to "Login to LMS", select official from the dropdown box, login to LMS again and the clinics button is at the top.

OFFICIALS NEEDED!
We are always looking for officials and the 1st step is to be registered to be allowed on deck!
If you are a returning Official, please use the link below to self register yourself.

You'll use the same login/password for SportLomo that you've created for your athlete.
- check the Officials Self Register box
- complete your contact information and the consent forms
- submit everything and tah dah, you're done
If you are a new Official:
-Log into your family account (athlete SportLomo account).
-The menu on the side, go to member details. Click on view registrations.
-Above the entries there will be a person with a + symbol and register button.
-Choose Officials Self Registration, continue.
-A drop down box of registered members will show plus a "add new member" option - choose that.
-Follow the instructions for filling in details and completing the consent forms.

Officiating is an important part of our club. We can not run meets without officials. By taking steps to become an official you are further supporting the club and your athlete. BONUS! - You get to be part of the action, learn the sport with your athlete, have the closest seat in the house to the races AND we give volunteer service hours(VSH) for all courses and meets you attend as well as generous VSHs for officiating at away meets! Sign up!

“NEW” Poinsettia Fundraiser Winner!
Thank you to every family who contributed to the Poinsettia fundraiser with Terra Nurseries Milton. We appreciate your efforts to support the club. Fundraising amounts will be added to your account in the week ahead.
Remember: Poinsettia's will be available for pick up at 27 Chaplin Cres in Georgetown on the evening of December 13th. Please be sure you can pick up your orders at that time to ensure the freshest flowers. Thank you Erika and Ben Harrison for offering their home as a pick up location.
