Good swims from our team representing Hyack at the Zajac meet. Special congrats to Elaine Lam who has been on fire as of recent and continued her hot hand here. She broke two of the barriers we know all must cross at some point, going under 2:10 for the 200 Free and under 60 seconds for the 100 Free. Hyack closed the EKI with its third solid day and what amounts to the 9th session (or a week's worth of swimming senior practice schedule) over the trip. The goal here at this time of year is to put together a complete meet as a team with all warm ups and warm down controlled. The meet proved to be a great environment for early season performance with heats over by noon and 3.5 hour breaks between the sessions. Sehajvir Singh started the medal haul tonight with a gold in 200 back and silver in 50 free. Zoe Froh scored bronze in 400 IM in a right race to the finish just ahead of teammates Sophia Brunoro and Jaime Lavoie. Sophia had earlier swam a bt in 200 free placing 5th.
