Parents Guide to Long Term Athlete Development

Description:

This squad consists of swimmers who are 13-14 years old and are Central Region "C" qualified or above.
Swimmers in this squad will be striving towards Festival and Central Region "B" qualification

Pre-requisite:

Be 13-14+ years of age as of October 31, 2023
Be Central Region "C" Qualified.
Have a high commitment to long term goals.

Expectations:

Swimmers will arrive on deck 30 minutes before each practice for activation protocol.
Swimmers will have all required training equipment at every practice.
Swimmers will attend all scheduled practices to the best of their ability with a 90% expectation.
Swimmers will attend all scheduled competitions as outlined for the group.
Swimmers will conduct themselves with highest level of professionalism at all practices and swim meets.
Swimmers will represent the Markham Aquatic with pride by wearing required Team Wear at all meets without exception.
