So just got the word from Kroc that the pool will be down , and could potentially be closed for the rest of the week. I am working on solutions of other pools to go to and am confident that I will be able to find water somewhere. I will keep you all posted. Here is the quick rundown on the Kroc pool. Back in October when the Kroc center had pump problems, they installed a temporary external pump while a new brass pump impeller could be cast. The pump is still being used as the pump for the comp pool. Yesterday the health dept inspector said they needed some paperwork because of this temporary pump, and the pool was not cleared for use until the paperwork was recieved and okayed. Next swim meet The next opportunity to race is Feb 9-11. Entries are due by Next Tuesday (Jan 30). This is an NTS meet (no time standards) which means it is for all levels. This is also the last chance to qualify for the local 14&U championship meet on March 9-10. We strongly encourage all swimmers to enter (unless your coach has advised otherwise).
