ISR CLASS LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

LEVEL 1:  ISR Self-Rescue Floaters :  5 week session, 4 days a week (10 min per day) $875 for the session

New students, even those as young as 6 months old who are not walking and can sit up independently. The child must be able to get into a sitting position on their own and maintain it for one minute without falling over. They will learn the fundamental ISR skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest, and breathe.  Infants and toddlers who are not yet walking will learn to maintain this position until help can reach them, and it’s just as important for older students as they incorporate more swimming skills.

LEVEL 2: ISR Self-Rescue Swimmers:  6 week session, 4 days a week (10 min per day) $1050 for the session

As toddlers and young children gain more physical skills on the land, they are ready to learn more skills in the water as well.  ISR teaches children to swim a short distance, rotate onto their back to a floating position, and then turn over to continue the sequence of swimming and floating until they can reach safety at the steps, side of the pool, or shoreline.

ISR REFRESHER COURSE: 3 week session, 4 days a week  (10 min per day) $525 for the session

These lessons are for children who have already completed ISR Self Rescue lessons. As the name implies, these lessons enable the children to “refresh” the skills that they have already learned.

ISR MAINTENANCE COURSE:  6 week session, 1 day a week (10 min per day) $265 for the session
