Ansin Pool
The Ansin Aquatic Center’s centerpiece is the Ansin Pool, a stretch, 50-meter Olympic-sized pool with two moveable bulkheads. The pool meets all requirements for all applicable local, national and international athletic and aquatic governing bodies (FINA, USA Swimming, USA Water Polo). The pool is 7-ft. deep around the perimeter with a maximum depth of 9 ft. in the center. It accommodates eight 50-meter lanes and sixteen 25-yard and 25-meter lanes. The pool is also equipped with OMEGA timing system starting blocks and touchpads, with results and information running on an OMEGA full-color video scoreboard flanked with twin 8-lane LED single-lane boards. The Ansin Pool has eight underwater speakers and a state-of-the-art gutter system designed for optimal performance.
Broad Reach Pool
The Broad Reach Pool is a 5-lane, 25-yard shallow instructional pool. This pool is 4 ft. around the perimeter and has a maximum depth of 5 ft. The pool, which is available for warm-ups and warm-downs during competitions, serves primarily as a teaching pool for swimming lessons. Students from Breakthrough Miami, local schools and the Ransom Everglades Summer Camp share the benefits of this facility.
