Due to the effects of Tropical Storm Isaac, Pine Crest School has closed the campuses at both locations (Fort Lauderdale & Boca Raton) for Monday, August 27.  This will include all after-school activities such as swimming & diving.      

I am finally getting the photo's up from our last week of camp.  This last week of camp with 19 kids was loads of fun, we may not have gone to the Boca campus on Friday, but the day was filled with a lot of fun activities:  t-shirt relay, noodle relay, painting creative designs on colorful bandanas and at the end of the day some delicious treats of make your own icee's and special Rising Star Swim Camp cupcakes. I hope we will see you next year, Summer 2013.        

Not only did the girls break club records from the Long Course Junior Olympics, but so did the boys.  Congratulations to the following boys that broke our Club Records for Long Course for their age group.   50 Breaststroke - Hank Contich, 33.64 200 Breaststroke - Hank Contich, 2:37.11   200 Freestyle Relay - Hank Contich, Anton Gueneralov, Noah Zylberberg, Michael Hovart, 1:46.40   I apologize for missing these record breaking events earlier.

 The National High School Swimming and Diving final rankings for 2011-2012 were just released this week and once again Pine Crest Swimming and Diving for boys and girls finished in the Top 10 in the Nation for the annual NISCA rankings. Pine Crest boys team finished 4th and the Lady Panthers finished 8th. Our Rising Star Swim & Dive Camp had loads of fun with days like Wednesday where we add Baby Shampoo to the Slip 'n' Slide for extra speed and enjoying the home cooked chocolate filled empanadas as a dessert while visiting the Boca Raton campus on Friday.
