Congratulations to all the swimmers that attended the FG Invitational Long Course Meet at the North County Aquatic Complex in Jupiter this past weekend.   Click HERE for the full results.  

Congratulations to Tyla Martin (14 years old) who just competed in the 2012 CARIFTA Games in the Bahamas over the weekend representing her country of Trinidad.  Twenty-two countries were represented at the Games.  Tyla swam in seven individual events and four relays and came home with eight Gold Medals, two of them were new CARIFTA records for the 13-14 Age Group.   100 fly - 1:03.81 (new CARIFTA record) 200 free - 2:09.73 50 fly - 29.49 (new CARIFTA record and new Club record) 400IM - 5:11.99 200IM - 2:26.62...

The CARIFTA 2012 Swimming Championships will be held in Nassau, The Bahamas beginning April 12.  Our own Tyla Martin will compete for her country of Trinidad & Tobago in 7 events (100 fly, 200 free, 50 fly, 400IM, 200IM, 400 free, and 200 back) in the 13-14 age group. Congratulations to our own Coach Jay Fitzgerald who received an Appreciation Award from NISCA.  Jay was at the recent 2012 NCAA Division I Men's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Seattle, Washington, March 22-24. On the Friday of the Championships, Jay was the NISCA Clinic Speaker where he presented the topic of Club Coaches working with High School Swimming Coaches for the benefit of the swimmer to the team coaches. Congratulations to all our swimmers at the Fort Lauderdale campus in our Lessons and Novice Program, that stuck with swimming through the months of January, February and March.  At the end of March, they received their own Polar Panther Club tshirt.  Coaches, Andrea, Lauren and Tonya are super proud!

Congratulations to all those Pine Crest Club swimmers that represented the Florida Gold Coast at this past weekend's Dual Meet against Florida Swimming.  Switching out their green and black colors from Pine Crest, the swimmers put on their gold caps and wore the gold tshirts to represent FGC (Florida Gold Coast).  FGC did not win, but the kids put in their best effort with some great races.   The swimmers from Pine Crest that participated were:  Marta Ciesla, Hank Contich, Rachel Contich, Jamie Flores, Miriyam Ghali, Sabrina Gornisiewicz, Ryan Graff,...

Pine Crest Swimming traveled to Orlando with 18 swimmers for the "2012 Spring Southern Zone Sectional Championships" on March 15-18 at the YMCA Aquatic Center.  Pine Crest Swimming finished with a 5th place for Combined Team points.   We had over 60 Personal Best Times and many of our swimmers made finals at night in either the A, B, C, or D Finals.  The event had many world class and Olympic athletes such as: Ryan Lochte, Peter Vanderkaay, Ariana Kukors, Julie Stupp, and Amanda Weir.   Congratulations to all our...
