This weekend, the Indian River State College (formerly IRCC) in Ft. Peirce, Florida will be hosting the annual FGC vs. Florida Swimming All-Star Dual Meet. This meet takes the top swimmers from each association and pits them together in a dual meet, similar to a high school or college meet. The Florida Gold Coast selects its team at Junior Olympics, taking the Top 6 finalists in each event. Just a reminder, all 5pm groups will practice at 8am Friday April 2. There will be no practice at 5pm. There will also be no practice Saturday April 3. 3:45pm groups will have normal practice on Friday.

PST Swim Team finishes 3rd at the 2010 FGC Senior Championships. By Coach Jimmy The coaching staff is really proud of the way the thirty six (36) PST athletes finished the meet this weekend. The kids raced tough the whole way through the meet right down to the very last relay. PST swimmers had 101 career Best Times. Lorenzo Cabrera, Jenna Diamond, and Jessica Randolph had 100 % career Best Times. Jessica Ankney and Kristina Figueroa made their first Sectional qualifying time. PST Entries We will be having a combined practice here at Central Park Thursday, March 25 at 5pm. Practice will be over at 6pm, and we will all meet at Cici's Pizza on University, just north of Sunrise, just before Sunset Strip. The address is 8253 Sunset Strip - Sunrise, FL 33322.
The upcomming Sunset Race has been moved to Wednesday March 24. If you have not signed up on the website you may sign up before 4:45pm on Wednesday. Warm up will begin at 5pm, and the meet will start at 5:30pm. You can sign up also by replying to this email. We have set these meets up during practice time to promote participation and education on how meets are run. All best times from these meets will be used. Terrell
