GTSA Has Kickoff Weekend in Winter Haven

GTSA kicked off its short course season in Winter Haven with a 6th place finish.  The team amassed 458 points over the weekend.  It was a true team effort with over 20 different swimmers contributing to the team total.  We also had 2 swimmers win individual high point awards in their respective age groups, Tyler Heath (95pts) in the 13-14 year old boys and Matthew Dieffenthaller (86pts) in the 10&under boys.  GTSA achieved 65% for the weekend, with Madyson Melendez, Lucy Morris, Oriana Rosso, and Belle Whitfield achieving 100% best times.  It was a great way to kick off the new short course season!  GTSA returns to action on October 9-10 at the Tampa Nike Swimming Classic.
