Joining GTSA is easy... 

SCHEDULE A FREE TRYOUT, THEN REGISTER TO JOIN! 

TRYOUT INFORMATION:

  • Email for an appointment [email protected] or Call 813-493-1526. 
  • Complete a FREE evaluation.
  • Bring a suit, towel, goggles, and meet your new coach!
  • The child must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke the length of a 25 yard pool.

JOIN US:

  • After the evaluation is completed click below to join our team for a fun competitive swimming experience.

  • Descriptions available when registering.
  • After registering you will be required to purchase a membership with USA Swimming (links below).
  • 2025 USA Swimming Annual Membership - available September 1 - link will be emailed to you

    2025 USA Swimming Outreach Membership (only use for those on government assistance  - free lunch)

    You will also need a City Rec Card 12 & under swimmers $15 for the year.  Swimmers 13 & older can get a Teen pass for free)

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Join anytime!  We swim year round as our pools are heated in the Winter.
  • Age group team is for swimmers 5 and up.
  • Your child will be placed into a group based on ability and age.
  • Practices are offerd Monday through Saturday for most groups. 
  • No mandatory practice requirements for the Dolphin, White, Red & Blue groups.
