Joining GTSA is easy...
SCHEDULE A FREE TRYOUT, THEN REGISTER TO JOIN!
TRYOUT INFORMATION:
- Email for an appointment [email protected] or Call 813-493-1526.
- Complete a FREE evaluation.
- Bring a suit, towel, goggles, and meet your new coach!
- The child must be able to swim freestyle and backstroke the length of a 25 yard pool.

- After registering you will be required to purchase a membership with USA Swimming (links below).
- 2024 USA Swimming Annual Membership - available September 1 - link will be emailed to you
2024 USA Swimming Outreach Membership (only use for those on government assistance - free lunch)
You will also need a City Rec Card 12 & under swimmers $15 for the year. Swimmers 13 & older can get a Teen pass for free) - If you need any team equipment or gear please email [email protected]
- For those on Govt. assistance please email your child's free & reduced lunch form to [email protected]
PROGRAM DETAILS:
- Join anytime! We swim year round as our pools are heated in the Winter.
- Age group team is for swimmers 5 and up.
- Your child will be placed into a group based on ability and age.
- Practices are offerd Monday through Saturday for most groups.
- No mandatory practice requirements for the Dolphin, White, Red & Blue groups.
