As most of the country was enjoying their 3 day weekend, swimmers from GTSA were celebrating in a little different way. Their fireworks came in the form of great swims at the St. Pete Aquatics Long Course Open. When the 3 days came to an end GTSA has accumulated 344 points to earn an eighth place finish in the team race. Individually 3 different swimmers finished in the top 5 in their age groups high point race including, Reagan Flynn, Matthew Dieffenthaller, and Tyler Heath. Both Matthew and Tyler helped their point totals by winning an individual event; Allie Donahue also touched the wall first in two individual events. GTSA finished the weekend with 65% best times including 100% personal bests from Ana Delong, Elsa Delong, Christopher Dieffenthaller, Larry Gomez, and Martha Morrisey. Greater Tampa Swimming Association will be back in action at Florida Age Group States on July 14-17 in Orlando, Fl.
