GTSA Finishes 3rd at 2011 WINstock Invitational

              Over the weekend 30 Greater Tampa Swimming Association swimmers participated in the 2011 WINstock Invitational hosted by the Winter Haven Stingrays in Winter Haven, FL.  After 3 days of great swimming GTSA amassed 774 points earning a 3^rd place finish.  17 different swimmers scored points in individual events while 18 different people swam on relays that scored points as well.  Those were lead by three individuals that earned high point trophies in their age groups.  Tyler Heath won the 13-14 boys out distancing his closest competitor by 18 points with a score of 104.  Grace Sanchez and Reagan Flynn finished 3^rd in their age groups with 79 and 64 points respectively.  GTSA had 78% best times including 100% best times from Julia Cogdill, AJ Dienes, Oriana Rosso, Sarah Whitfield, and Sarah Willoughby.  The coaching staff concluded that this is one of the best swim meets GTSA had participated in years.  Many fast times but even more importantly many well swam races.  The team returns to action on October 8^th in the 2011 NIKE Classic.
