GTSA Well Represented at FHSAA State Finals

                     This weekend the best high school swimmers in the state of Florida will converge on the Central Florida YMCA Aquatic Center in Orlando, FL.  The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSA) swimming state finals will be contested starting Thursday and concluding on Saturday. 8 GTSA swimmers, representing 2 area high schools (Plant, Holy Names) have advanced to participate in this very exclusive meet.  The Plant swimmers (Ally Donahue, Emma Donahue, Carter Flynn, Tyler Heath, Jeremy Parker, and Giakomo Rosso) will be competing on Thursday, while the Holy Names swimmers (Julia Cogdill, Margaret Shumake) will compete on Saturday.  Below are the events that each of them are going to swim.  When you see them around the pool this week please tell them congratulations and good luck.  GTSA is so proud of all of you!

 

Julia Cogdill: 200 MED. R, 200 FR R, 100 BR

Alexandria Donahue: 200 MED. R, 200 FR R, 100 BR, 400 FR R.

Emma Donahue: 100 BR, 400 FR R.

Carter Flynn: 200 MED. R, 400 FR R.

Tyler Heath: 400 FR R

Jeremy Parker: 50 FR, 200 FR R, 400 FR R

Giakomo Rosso: 50 FR, 200 FR R, 100 FR, 400 FR R

Margaret Shumake: 200 MED R, 100 BR
