Congratulations GTSA's Class of 2012
I hope that all of you will take a moment to congratulate GTSA's class of 2012 the next time you see them. This year we had four seniors representing three different schools! Each of them not only excelled in the pool, but more importantly in the class room. They have been great representatives' for our GTSA family and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Below is a little information on the group!
A.J.Dienes(Bayshore Christian): A.J. graduated from Bayshore Christian as a part of the National Honor Society as well as the American Technology Honor Society. He started his swimming career his Junior year of high school and was still able to qualify to the regional level in his final two years. A.J. will be attending Florida Atlantic in the fall. Awesome A.J.!
Martha Morrissey(Robinson High): Martha was Robinson High School's Salutatorian while in the IB program. Her excellence did not stop in the classroom as she was the swim team captain and a multiple ear regional qualifier. Martha will be attending The University of California at Berkeley in the fall. Way to go Martha!
Jeremy Parker(Plant High): Jeremy graduated with honors from Plant while also being a member of the National Honor Society. He helped Plant's relays all the way to the FHSAA state finals this year, and was named a member of the All-County swim team. Jeremy will be continuing his swimming career with The University of Tampa in the fall. Great job Jeremy!
Giakomo Rosso(Plant High): Giakomo also graduated from Plant where he was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society. He was captain of the swim team and also a member of Plant's State Finals relays and a member of the All-County team. Giakomo will continue his swimming career at Indian River State College in the fall. Excellent work Giakomo.
Be sure to give these four swimmers a pat on the back when you see them next, and thank them for being great representatives to our team and role models to our younger swimmers!
