Donahue Excels at Junior Nationals

       This past weekend the best 18&under swimmers in the United States assembled in Knoxville, TN at USA Swimming’s Junior Nationals.  Ally Donahue was able to represent GTSA in 3 individual events.  She swam the 50 Freestyle, as well as the 100 & 200 Breaststrokes over the 3 day meet.  Before finishing the meet with a lifetime best in the 200 Breaststroke, Ally qualified for the consolation final in the 100 Breaststroke.  In the prelims she touched the wall in a personal best of 1:03.0.  In finals she finished in 15^thplace scoring GTSA 2 points.  That was good enough to be the seventh best team from the state of Florida at Junior Nationals.  This is a great accomplishment for Ally and GTSA!  When you see her please make sure to congratulate her!
