GTSA swimmers had several strong, strategic races as many of the swimmers are learning how to race, pace and finish strong which will help for the middle-distance events. I appreciate the swimmers taking ownership of their progress. Without a lot of rest heading into the meet, several GTSA swimmers are showing improvement in their times with their daily dryland and strong swim workouts.

Berkeley Prep Meet - GTSA had 28 swims with 21 top times. This was a great short course meet for our younger Age Groups.

  • Largest Time Drops:

Camden Wilkerson - 50 yard Backstroke - 9.87 time drop

Blake Bedan - 25 Backstroke - 9.77 time drop

Chase Woitas - 100 Breaststroke - 8.56 time drop

Gabriel Ramirez - 10 and under, 50 yard Breaststroke 3rd place,

Chase Woitas - 10 and under, 50 yard Backstroke 3rd place, 50 yard Butterfly 3rd place

This is a great meet for our young swimmers to gain competitive confidence and experience swimming in their career. We will attend short course meets in June. Our GTSA coaches are doing a great job in teaching and coaching our swimmers!
