SPA Swim Meet Recap – May 17 - 19

This past weekend GTSA competed at the St. Pete Long Course swim meet. We had 26 athletes compete and compiled 63 top times.  A big congratulations to all our GTSA swimmers who continue to win heats and improve times this early in the long course season.

NEW GTSA RECORD ALERT:

Brody Tindoll set a new team record in the 13-14 Boys 200 Meter Long Course Backstroke with a time of 2:25.08 taking 3 seconds off the previous record. Congratulations Brody!

TOP 3 SWIMMERS WHO DROPPED THE MOST TIME IN ONE EVENT…. 

  • Chandler Campbell dropped 30 seconds in her 100 Meter Breaststroke
  • Anne Marie Helmer dropped 22.47 seconds in her 100 Meter Freestyle
  • Molly Graham dropped -19.76 seconds in her 200 Meter Freestyle

NEW FLAG QUALIFIER…

Congrats to Ryder Herrmann with his first long course cut for this season in the 50 Meter Freestyle with a time of 36.16
