Holiday Adjusted training schedule As swimmers get out of school, we will adjust our practice schedules to ensure that all swimmers/training groups have the space required for optimal practices. The 2025 SC Senior State Championships was a great meet for Tidal Wave! Across distances and strokes, swimmers achieved best times race after race. Nikolay Chernev celebrated his last 13-14 meet, and birthday weekend, breaking six team records (13-14 boys 1000 free, 100 & 200 breast, 200 fly, 200 & 400 IM)! The IMR IMX Invite served as our first multiday meet of the season. Our swimmers were strong throughout the weekend, qualifying for many new state championship standards. Just over 100 Tidal Wave swimmers made the trip to the West Gwinnett Park Aqatic Center for our second competiton of the season. While conditions may not have been ideal, swimmers took advantage of the chance to race. Best times were secured heat after heat. Preston Hatcher led the way for the team, achieving two new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims. The 2025 Big Brother/Big Sister was a huge success! Thank you to all of our volunteers that ensured a smooth and successful meet! Our competitive season started with nearly 150 swimmers competing. Many of our swimmers realized large improvements from last season. For our new swimmers, coaches were able to see what they had learned in the first few weeks of the season.
