The GA Winter Qualifier served as a last chance for Tidal Wave swimmers to achieve new age group state time standards, and as a last chance to qualify for the Peach State Championships. While the Coaches Invite did not go off as planned (due to the storm), better than 90 Tidal Wave swimmers raced on Sunday. It was great seeing swimmers get up on the blocks again. The Tidal Wave Invite was a huge success. Our parent group ran a brilliant meet! While we worked with a different pool set-up, swimmers were able to race to new levels. Nikolay Chernev broke the team record in the 13-14 boys 400 IM (4:17.22)! New swimmers were added to our 14 & under state team. Eleven swimmers achieved new All-Time Tidal Wave Top 10 times.
