DCS Swim Meet Parent Volunteer
Parents we need your help with the DCS home Swim Meets!
Home meets raise critical funds for DCS. Our team will host up to 500 swimmers (250 per session) and their families from neighboring teams. Parents and friends of DCS, we need your help to execute flawless events. Timers, concessions, safety monitors, hospitality, awards…all are positions in which we need your gift of time. Please click here to select your job and shift. Let’s get on deck, have fun and support our swimmers. Every little bit helps! We have five categories for you to lend your valuable time:
- Timers -- get the best view of the racing from behind the blocks! Use a stopwatch (provided) and the touchpad plunger to "backup" the official touchpad time.
- Concessions -- sell a variety of drinks and snacks to swimmers and guests
- Hospitality -- provide refreshments and food to our USAS officials and coaches
- Safe Sport Monitor -- ensure that boundaries are enforced for locker rooms and pool deck access
- Awards -- ensure that the winners of ribbons and medals are attributed to the correct athlete

We always welcome new USA Swimming officials. Without officials, we can't host a sanctioned meet! If you are interested in becoming a Stroke and Turn official, an Administrative Official, or learning how to run the control panel for our electronic timing system, please reach out to [email protected].
