DASH Giving Thanks meet, we NEED your help!
Good evening, Team DASH,
Can you believe November is already here! That means our first meet of the fall season is approaching fast.
We are currently less than 3 weeks away from our Giving Thanks Meet, and we need your help for a successful meet. Hosting a meet gives our team much needed funds to keep our club running. It also gives an opportunity to our swimmers to be able to compete in their home pool. It’s fun to see our swimmers meet friends from other teams and build that lifelong friendship. Such a great experience for all.
First, I would like to thank everyone who has signed up. A lot of jobs have been taken, and we appreciate you all. We do, however, still have jobs available. All are fun and easy. You can email me with any questions you may have about a job, or where you could fit best. All DASH families have work session obligations, and this is a great meet to learn some new jobs and be able to be down on deck with your swimmer. Not sure how to sign up? Go to Events and Competition, click on Team Events, look for the Giving Thanks meet, click on the green job sign up tab, and choose the job that suits you best. If you're still not sure, let me know, I can walk you through it.
We also have Giving Thanks Caps available to purchase to wear for practice and during the meet if you’d like. They will be available on certain dates at the pool (check news section for dates) or respond to this email and I can get you one. Caps are latex and are $5.00.
