How do I register?
     All returning DASH members are required to register online through our website. New swimmers need to be evaluated and register in person. See  If you do not have access to the internet please Contact Us for assistance. 

 

Team Swim Suit

All swimmers that attend swim meets are required to have a team swim suit. Suit fitting oppurtunities will be offerred every season.  A new team swim suit must be purchased every year.

 

How do I know what group to register for?
     If your child is new to swimming, they will be tested on the first night of practice during the 2 week free trial.  If your child is not new to swimming, please refer to Training Group description when registering.  If you have any questions as to which group your child is in, please contact Coach Doug.

 

When are monthly invoices due?
     All monthly invoices are charged to the payment method on file on the first of each month.  Invoices are available to view throughout the month through your member account.  In addition to monthly membership fees your invoice may include meet entry fees and/or other charges you have authorized to be billed to your account.  Click HERE for billing explanation and fees.

 

Do you charge credit processing fees?
At this time DASH does not collect the credit processing fees; to help keep our overhead cost down setting up your monthly payments to an ACH (automatic deduction from your checking or savings account) you will save the team 3.95% every transaction.  An ACH withdrawal can only be set up after registration but is easy to do. Log into your team account, click on “Set up autopay” and then “Add Bank Account”.   Please contact our registration admin with question regarding account set up.

 

Are discounts available?
Yes, DASH offers a multi-swimmer discount: 3+ swimmers – 10% discount. You MUST REGISTER ALL YOUR SWIMMERS AT THE SAME TIME TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT! USA Swimming Fee & pool enhancement fees, and swimmers apparel bundle are not discountable.

In addition to the discounts above, several fundraising opportunities are available during the season.  Fundraising credits are applied to your DASH account and are not redeemable in cash.  Discounts will roll-over from Fall season to Summer season BUT NOT from Summer season to Fall season.

 

Are scholarships available?
Yes, scholarships are available for families that may not be able to afford the full membership fees, click HERE for more information.  USA swimming offers an Outreach Program that provides reduced USA Swimming Membership Fees and meet fees to families that qualify.

How does the Free trial period work?
All swimmers new to DASH are eligible for a free trial period.  The free trial period gives you the opportunity to see if DASH fits what you are looking for before committing to the full season.  The trial period requires you to register for the trial period and create an account for yourself on our DASH website.  This is a requirement of USA Swimming in order to be covered under the club's insurance policy.  If your swimmer decides to continue with the program, you will need to log-in to your DASH account and complete the Registration process.  Board members will be available during the orientation week to assist with this process, if needed.

 

Do I have to join USA Swimming?
Yes, all members of DASH are required be members of USA Swimming.  This year USA Swimming is offering two membership options, flex and premium.  Please review the FLYER for full details of each option.  If you do not select one of the USA Swimming Membership options at the time of registration you will be automatically enrolled in the Premium Membership and the applicable fee will be billed to your account (except Jr. Hurricane group). 

 

Work Sessions

Swimming is a volunteer intensive sport and we appreciate your willingness to support our swim team! Team hosted meets are completely run by DASH parents.

Each family is required to work a certain number of work sessions, depending on which swim group your most advanced swimmer is in.  Work sessions are offered during our home meets and can be signed up for on DASH’s website.  You will receive an email when the job sign up is available on line.  Each job on the sign up page will show the number of work session credits you will receive for that job.  Meets will have two or three sessions per day lasting approximately four hours long.  Available work sessions are scheduled in either 2 or 4 hour increments.
