Safe Sport Policy

Vandal Aquatic Club is fully committed to the development and protection of our athletes in a safe and supportive environment. We strive to make the deck, pool, meet, and locker room experiences positive with excellent coaching, no bullying and a culture of safe sport. As of June 23, 2019, USA Swimming requires that all clubs adopt and administer the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP). Read the policy HERE.

To better understand the policy in different situations and definitions of terms, go to the USA Swimming MAAPP page and see the "Educational Documents." Please check back as USA Swimming is frequently updating the Q&A links to clarify the intent and implementation of the policy.
