Each year, we start off the short course season with this meet in memory of Rachel Dean (1992-2017), a former coach and swimmer for BNSC. Rachel was an absolute joy and an inspiration. She worked hard and encouraged her teammates and later on, her own swimmers, to do the same. She had an infectious positive energy that radiated to those around her, and we witnessed that within the swim community.

We're turning October green for Rachel Dean.
