Our annual Holiday Prelim/Final meet was renamed The Bruce Walker Memorial meet in 2024 in honor of Bruce who passed in 2023. Bruce was a swim parent and a USA swimming official, and within those two roles, he dedicated so much time to BNSC. He also took his dedication to the sport and his daughters, Brooke and Mara, to the high school meets and the collegiate level. Bruce was always calm and professional and never complained - even when working non-stop for 12 hours. His leadership and contributions to the sport in Central Illinois are admirable.

This meet is hosted in early December and is in a prelim/final format for 11 and up! Those who are 10 and under will compete in a final only between the prelims and finals for the older kids!
