Coaches and Board of Directors
Coach Brynna, originally from Sullivan, Illinois, began swimming with the Sullivan Blue Dolphins at the age of five. After graduating from Sullivan High School in 2017, she attended Franklin College where she studied Multimedia Journalism and swam for four years. Specializing in distance free and sprint backstroke, she qualified for NCAA Division III Nationals for three years and ended her swim career ranked in the top 5 in the 1650 and 500 free, earning her Academic All-American status for 3 straight years.
Brynna, a swim helper with the Blue Dolphins for four years during high school, decided she wanted to stay involved in swimming by joining the BNSC coaching staff in 2022.
Outside the pool Brynna works for the Illinois Soybean Association as a Communications Coordinator. She enjoys spending time with her dog, Frannie, listening to podcasts, and seeing her family.
Brynna is excited to continue to work with our talented BNSC swimmers and looks forward to sharing her love of the sport with the next generation of student athletes!

Following a long career in the corporate world, Roxane decided to follow her passion and jumped into the water as a Swim Instructor, USA Swim Coach, and U.S. Masters Swim Coach.
Drawing on her corporate world experience, as a named inventor on over 60 U.S. patents, Roxane uses her innovative spirit to teach and coach in ways that make training/learning fun and engaging, while encouraging teamwork and a love for the sport that will hopefully last a lifetime.
As a lifelong swimmer, you’ll probably still find Roxane in or around the water when not coaching. She is a United States Masters Swimmer and enjoys competing in pool and open water competitions. Additionally, she has 2 grandchildren who both share her passion for swimming and competing.
Swimming has always been a big part of my life and my family’s. My brother swims for the U.S. Air Force Academy and is a two-time WAC Champion in the 400 IM.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Illinois State University and love helping swimmers grow in the sport and find their passion for it.

Coach Robby is thrilled to return to BNSC and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of swimmers!
