Swimmers and Parents, welcome to the 2025-2026 Short Course Season

Practice for ALL Age Group and Senior practice groups begin this week!

Calendar, Meets and Team Events 

  • The SCA Calendar has been updated and can be found on the front page of the team website. There is a complete Team Calendar, also links to each training group. LINK to St Charles Swim Team Calendar.
  • Meets and Team Events page can be found as a LINK in the St Charles Swim Team drop menu. 

Practice Cancellations / Changes

SCST will limit the number of practice cancelations due to scheduling conflicts when possible. When conflicts occur and SCST is late getting in the pool we ask swimmers to be patient getting in the pool. Coaches will let the Team know when the pool is ready to start practices.

  • NO PRACTICE Thursday Evening, September 11 for AGE GROUP 3 Silver  and AGE GROUP 3 Gold, due to SCN High School Home Swim and Dive Meet.
  • NO PRACTICE Thursday Evening, September 18 for SENIOR Team 1, SENIOR Team 2, SENIOR High Performance, AGE GROUP 2 Silver and AGE GROUP 2 Gold due to SCE High School Home Swim and Dive Meet.
  • PRACTICE CHANGE Thursday Evening, September 18 for AGE GROUP 4, practice will be 7:00-8:30pm at the Norris Rec Center.
  • NO PRACTICE Sunday Morning, September 21 for AGE GROUP 4, AGE GROUP 1, AGE GROUP 2 Silver and GROUP 3 Silver due to SCST Intra Squad Meet.
  • NO PRACTICE Tuesday Evening, September 23 for SENIOR Team 1, SENIOR Team 2, SENIOR High Performance and AGE GROUP 4 due to SCE High School Home Swim Meet.
  • NO PRACTICE Thursday Evening, September 25 for AGE GROUP 3 Silver  and AGE GROUP 3 Gold, due to SCN High School Home Swim and Dive Meet.
  • NO PRACTICE Saturday Morning, September 27 for SENIOR Team 1, SENIOR Team 2, SENIOR High Performance and AGE GROUP 3 Gold, due to NTA Shark Frenzy Invitational.
  • NO PRACTICE Sunday Morning, September 28 for AGE GROUP 4, AGE GROUP 1, AGE GROUP 2 Silver and GROUP 3 Silver, due to NTA Shark Frenzy Invitational.
  • NO PRACTICE Thursday Evening, October 2 for SENIOR Team 1, SENIOR Team 2, SENIOR High Performance, AGE GROUP 2 Silver and AGE GROUP 2 Gold due to SCE High School Home Swim and Dive Meet.
  • PRACTICE CHANGE Thursday Evening, October 2 for AGE GROUP 4, practice will be 7:00-8:30pm at the Norris Rec Center.
  • NO PRACTICE Saturday Morning, October 4 for SENIOR Team 1, SENIOR Team 2, SENIOR High Performance and AGE GROUP 3 Gold, due to SCE High School Swim and Dive Meet.

Meet Schedule

  • SCST Speedo Intra Squad Meet (Sept 21, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. This meet is for swimmers and parents to have fun and meet each other. More information to follow this week. Deadline to register is September 15th. 
  • New Trier Aquatics Shark Frenzy (Sept 27-28, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. This is a good meet to start the season for any level of athlete on SCST. The deadline to register was September 6th, we can still enter swimmers. If interested, please contact Coach Cabel at [email protected].
  • SCST Speedo Fall Classic (Oct 10-12, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. Deadline to register is September 14th. 
  • BSC 12 & Under Swimpalooza (Oct 19, 2025) This Meet is for SCST 12 & Under Swimmers. This meet has a maximum time standard of a National “BB” Time. If your swimmer is NEW to the program this is a good meet for them to participate in. Deadline to register is September 26th. 
  • Maverick Round Up (Nov 24-25, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. Deadline to register is October 3rd. 
  • IFly A3 Midwest Challenge (Oct 31-2, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers who achieve the minimum qualifying time. Deadline to register is Sept 16th. 
  • Concord Swimming Skypoint Transit Invitational (Nov 7-9, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. More information to follow. 
  • SCST 12& Under Swimpalooza (Nov 16, 2025) This Meet is for SCST 12 & Under Swimmers. This meet has a maximum time standard of a National “BB” Time. If your swimmer is NEW to the program this is a good meet for them to participate in. Deadline to register is October 19th. 
  • Western Great Lakes Open (Nov 21-23, 2025) This Meet is Open to SCST Age Group Swimmers who achieve the minimum qualifying time. More Information to follow.
  • US Open Championships (Dec 3-6, 2025) This Meet is Open to SCST Swimmers who achieve the minimum qualifying time. 
  • SCST Speedo 8 & Under Classic (Dec 7, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST 8 & Under Swimmers. Deadline to register is November 9th.
  • USA Swimming Speedo Winter Junior Championships (Dec 10-13, 2025) This Meet is Open to SCST Swimmers who achieve the minimum qualifying time. 
  • Wheaton Jingle Bell Classic (Dec 19-20, 2025) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers. More information follow.
  • West Chicago Polar Bear Classic (Jan 9-11, 2026) This Meet is Open to All SCST Age Group Swimmers. This is a great meet and not far away. More information to follow.
  • 2025 Carmel Swim Club Winter Invitational (Jan 16-18, 2026) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers who achieve the minimum qualifying standard. More information to follow
  • TBA (January 30-February 2, 2026) SCST is looking for a meet, more information to come.
  • SCST Speedo Jack Yetter Chicagoland Championships (Feb 13-15, 2026) This Meet is Open to All SCST Swimmers, check with your swimmers coach before signing up. Deadline to register is January 18th. 
  • Delta Chase the Dream Prelim/Final Championships (Feb 20 - 22, 2026) This is a Qualifying Meet, only swimmers who have achieved a time slower than a 2024-2025 Illinois Swimming Regional Championship Time Standard are eligible to Swim. More information to follow. 
  • ISI Spring Regional Championships (Feb 27–Mar 1, 2026) This is a Qualifying Meet more information to follow.
  • ISI Short Course Senior Championships (Mar 5-8, 2026) This is a Qualifying Meet more information to follow.
  • ISI 10 & Under Short Course Championships (Mar 7-8, 2026) This is a Qualifying Meet more information to follow.
  • ISI 11-14 Short Course Age Group Championships (Mar 12-15, 2026) This is a Qualifying Meet more information to follow.

Order Apparel and Gear -

Suit Sizing

  • Suit sizing will be happening this week Monday (09/08) 5:45-7:15pm & Wednesday (09/10) 5:45-7:15pm at the Norris Rec Center. Swimmers will be able to try on suits. All ordering of Suits and Equipment is done through our vendor Simply Swimming. Questions contact Colleen Deutmeyer at [email protected].

SCST Splash Events

SCST Splash is the Team Events that ALL SCST Swimmers get a chance to participate together around or outside the pool. Here is list of events planned for this upcoming season.
