Athlete Rep & Committee Application Open!

Applications to be an Illinois Swimming Athlete Representative and/or serve on a Committee are due by Friday September 19th at 11:59PM.

Interested candidates for Athlete Rep will be asked to upload the following:

• A 30 second video introducing yourself and explaining why you would be a good candidate for Athlete Rep 

• A picture to post on Illinois Swimming social media

The video, picture and application responses will be available for voters and will be used for social media promotion of elections. NOTE: Athletes interested in a committee only will not need to upload a picture or video. 

Elections will be held electronically over the course of a week, beginning Wednesday September 24th and closing October 1st at 11:59PM. A voting form will be send to athletes/coaches and linked on social media/website. 

Elected Athletes will be announced Sunday October 5th at the House of Delegates Meeting Naperville at 1pm.

• Elected Athlete Reps will also be announced via Illinois Social Media

• Athletes that applied to be Athlete Reps, but not elected to Athlete Reps will receive information of the possibility of serving in a committee position via email. 

ALSO! Club Athlete Delegates and athletes running for Illinois Swimming Athlete Rep will be invited to the Ambassador Camp with sessions being held Saturday October 4th in the evening and the hour prior to House of Delegates on Sunday October 5th.
