BECOMING A CHIEF JUDGE
Reason for the session/training requirements: This is close to what the requirements are for an N2, just without the evaluation.
Official must work a minimum of 16 sessions (on deck training session don’t count towards the 16) as a S&T or CJ at local meets (after being certified as a S&T).
If an official has more advanced certifications (SR/DR) they need to have worked 16 sessions in total since certifying as a S&T.
Official must work a minimum of 4 sessions at a OQM meet on a dedicated CJ team (where there are no fewer than 2 CJs at each session). For example: Meet that is an OQM, Zone, Sectional, or IL LSC State meet.
Official would need an evaluation completed by the Team Lead CJ or Meet Referee for the meet worked. It’s possible there would be multiple forms if the training is over multiple meets.
