IMXtreme (IMX) Challenge

The IM Xtreme (IMX) Challenge is a USA Swimming Challenge. The IMX Challenge is a ranking which includes a series of five or six events at longer distances. Once you've completed the IMX program, you can find out where your IMX score ranks nationally, within your zone, within your LSC rank and on your club. Your scores are visible on the USA Swimming site or in the USA Swimming mobile app Deck Pass. Athletes looking to move from Tigers 1 or Tigers 2 into Tiger Pride must earn an IMX score of at least 1,500 points.
 

 

Below is a description of the events included in the challenge:

  • 9 & Under; 10-year olds: 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 IM
  • 11-year olds; 12-year olds: 400 Free (LC) or 500 Free (SC), 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 IM
  • 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, & 18-year olds: 400 Free (LC) or 500 Free (SC), 200 Back, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 IM, 400 IM

IM Ready (IMR) Challenge

The IM Ready (IMR) Challenge is a USA Swimming Challenge in which swimmers compete in a series of five events at shorter distances.  Once swimmers complete each of the events, they will have a score and club ranking which are visible on the USA Swimming website or in the mobile application Deck Pass. Athletes looking to move from Tiger Cubs 1, Tiger Cubs 2, or Tiger Cubs 3 to Tiger Stripes must earn an IMR score of at least 1,000 points.
 

 

 

Below is a description of the events included in the challenge:

  • 9 & Under; 10 year-olds: 100 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 IM (SC) or 200 IM (LC)
  • 11 year-olds; 12 year-olds: 200 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 IM (SC) or 200 IM (LC)
  • 13 & Over: 200 Free, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 100 Fly, 200 IM
