What Are the Spotlight Awards?

The Spotlight Awards celebrate athletes who embody excellence, growth, and character. This
program highlights swimmers not only for their dedication in training but also for their leadership,
sportsmanship, and positive impact in the community.

Who Can Be Nominated?
     ● Any USA Swimming member in good standing who is also an active member of a New England Swimming registered club.
     ● Athletes of all ages are eligible.
     ● Recognition criteria should be scaled to the developmental stage of the athlete.

What We Celebrate

     ✔ Excellence & Growth in the Water – Dedication, improvement, and positive team culture.
     ✔ Impact & Character Beyond the Water – Leadership, community service, resilience, and integrity.

Awards & Recognition

    🏅 Quarterly Recognition – Nominees highlighted in NES newsletters and on social media.
    💵 Quarterly Awards – 3 athletes randomly selected each cycle to receive a $50 award.
     🎟 Year-End Raffle – All nominees entered for a chance to win $250.
