New England Swimming awards three or four scholarships every year to a graduating senior who plans to swim in college:

 

1. Mary T. Riddell Scholarship: is in honor of the Office Manager of New England Swimming for 25 years. Her dedication to the coaches, parents, and, most importantly, the swimmers of New England was exemplary. In her honor, New England Swimming established a scholarship in her name beginning in 2010. This scholarship will be awarded every year to a graduating senior who has shown solid work ethic, strong values, and dedication to the sport of swimming.

 

2. Bob Menck III Scholarship: is in honor of Bob who became a USA official when his children were young and involved in competitive swimming. He worked through the levels becoming active in USA Swimming on the national level and in New England Swimming serving as Official's Chair and Technical Chair, as well as YMCA, NCAA and High School meets. Bob was known for his knowledge and skill as an official and a mentor, his sense of humor, and his hijinks and pranks. He was affectionately known as “King Bob” after his love of the Minions was discovered.

 

3. Priscilla Davis Scholarship: Priscialla was a member of the New England Swimming Board of Directors for decades, serving as the Adapted Swimming and Safety Chair for many years. She served on numerous USA Swimming national committees, including the National Adapted Swimming Committee and the National Swimming Safety Committee. She also served for many years on the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Board of Directors and was the recipient of countless awards and recognitions, and was a two-time recipient of the Adolf Kiefer Safety Commendation Award, presented at the United States Aquatic Sports National Convention, in 1991 and 2017. She is a member of the MIAA Hall of Fame.with 25+ years of service to Massachusetts High School Swimming and Diving.  She had a strong connection to the Special Olympics and there wasn't a weekend on her calendar, up until the end, that didn't have at least one meet scheduled.
