Coach Legacy Recipients Announced
The Coach Committee has named the two Coach of the Year Legacy Awards that were voted on by the coaches of New England Swimming:
Jeff Johnson’ Award: Developmental Coach Award awarded to Liz Curtis, PSC.
This coach is recognized for their great work and achievements in bettering the athletic abilities, values, and overall character of their athletes and program. This coach has demonstrated growth and development from their athletes, not only in the sport of swimming, but as individuals.
‘Dorsi Raynolds’ Award: Coach of the Year Award awarded to Chris Sheppard, CS.
This coach is recognized for their achievements in the sport of swimming throughout the last year. This coach has demonstrated consistent and successful performances from their athletes, and dedication to the sport of swimming as shown through the growth of their entire program and through their support of the New England Swimming community.
Congratulations to Liz and Chris who will receive a Lifetime membership in USA Swimming for this achievement.
