RECORD BREAKERS!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RECORD BREAKERS AT LAST WEEKEND's CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS:
Mixed 10&Under Freestyle NE record and 10&Under Meet was broken by ABF (Matthew Laporte, Hannah Shaw, Cayden Hoang and Kira Hong) with a time of 4:48.91. This broke the previous record of CS (J. Lee, E. Gamble, M. Boccone Schuur, and R. Lie) from 2018
Mixed 10&Under Medley Relay Meet Record and NE Record was established by ABF (Kira Hong, Cayden Hoang, Matthew Laporte and Hannah Shaw) with a time of 5:22.07.
Senior Meet:
Alexei Avakov of PHX broke the 17-18 NE Record with an Olympic Trials Qualifying time of 1:02.19. The previously 17-18 was held by Max Reich also of PHX (1:02.37 in 2019) and the Sr. Meet record was held by Shotaro Shimazaki UN with a time of 1:02.71 set in 2017)
Josh Parent (ABF) broke his own 800 Freestyle record of 8:15.89 set in 2022 with a time of 8:08.64. Josh also broke the Sr. Meet record in the 1500 with a time of 15:39.98. This broke the previous record of 15:51.02 set in 2013 by Andrew Matejka BGSC
BGSC 15-18 Boys set a new 15-18 400 Medley Relay Record. Quinn Caputo, George Groves James Mistro and William McClelland swam a time of 3:49.74 beating the old time of 3:45.73 set by CRIM in 2017
ABF (Bluefish) broke the Open and Senior Meet record in the Mixed 400 Free record with a time of 3:42.16. The relay of Owen McLaughlin, Josh Parent, Zuri Ferguson and Jaqueline Zipagan broke the previous record of 3:43.02 set by CS last year at Seniors
PHX (Phoenix Swimming) broke the 15-18, Open and Senior Mixed 400 Medley relay with a time of 4:01.16l This relay of William Carrico, Alexei Avakov, Isabella Schneider and Michaela Chokureva broke the previous records also held by CS set last year at Seniors
