During the first day of US Olympic Team Trials, Alexei Avakov -  PHX, set a new 17-18 50 Breaststroke record with a 50-split time of 28.86.   This breaks the previous record time of 29.00 set by Nick D'Innocenzo, MAG, set all the way back in 2009!
