Congrats to all of our finalists for Night 2! This is a record high number of 19 finals qualifiers in a single day!! In the 200 Free, Alexa Fulton came in 2nd with a time of 2:04.23. Kenzie Padilla went a best time of 2:06.46 to win the B Final and get 9th overall. Jena Nowoswiat got 24th with a time of 2:11.97. Unbelievably, our UMLY swim team raised $25,000 in a very short period of time as part of the YMCA's Annual Campaign! Our team held its first ever 12-Hour Relay. 100% of the proceeds went to the YMCA's Financial Assistance program. In 2022, this program provided financial assistance to 1 out of every 9 swimmers and lesson participants who could not otherwise afford to participate in these programs. It was a great night for our 13 & Over banquet! As always, the senior speeches were both heartfelt and hilarious. We wish our senior "swammers" much success in the next chapter of their lives. And many thanks to our parent volunteers for putting together this special evening.
