High Tides Athletes, As we move into this 'pause' in our practice routine for the next 4 weeks, I am planning some dryland sessions and zoom meetings to keep everyone engaged and active. Our first set of zoom meetings will be on Monday evening, and independent dryland activities will be scheduled going forward after that. Well, It looks like the Governers new peacetime emergency order will be having the High Tides "pausing" for a month, starting on Saturday and going through December. We have made some great progress since starting back up in mid October. I am really dissapointed in the action, but I will be planning some virtual activities for our registered swimmers to keep them in shape and engaged for what I hope is a small break in our season. Swimmers Families, Although there is a bit of winter weather tonight we will be having practice as normal. I will not be driving in, and Mark and Megan will be covering all of our groups. As we start November there are a couple of things I wanted to update you on. We have a number of swimmers that are just starting their season this week, and we are now up to 29 swimmers on the team New Prague meet. Those swimmers that had been participating in September/October had a chance to swim in a meet hosted in New Prague. Swimmers families, I am so excited to get our winter season going tonight in the Carlson Pool! Just a couple of things that have/will change with this upcoming restart. No swimmers that are unregistered for the season will be allowed to enter the pool for practice.
