2024 TUNA Summer Session Only Registration

TUNA’s Summer 2024 session runs the weeks of June 9, 2024 - July 11, 2024.

-Registration for Returning Swimmers is open  May 6 – May 20, 2024. This registration is for swimmers currently training who would like to finish the season or HS athletes returning from a HS sport. This is not meant for those who have not been training this season. Priority is given to currently registered swimmers to be able to finish the season. 

2024 Summer Session Fees*:

-Session fees are paid immediately upon registration. Session fees are non-refundable.

-Session fees include a $10 fee to offset meet hospitality costs (Returning College Swimmers are not charged this fee as they do not participate in meets).

*Session fees do not cover additional charges such as meet fees, swim caps, special events, etc.

Important Registration Information:

• Club Policies – at registration you will be asked to review and acknowledge several TUNA Club policies. Please review the appropriate Codes of Conduct with all of the Athletes and Parents (including swimmers 18+) in your household prior to start of summer session.
• Volunteer Commitment – Please see "Volunteer Commitment Summer 2024 Session" section below. Families that opt out of fulfilling their volunteer requirement will be charged a $250 fee at the end of each session.
• Multi-Swimmer Discount – families registering more than one swimmer per session will receive a 5% discount off total registration fees for all swimmers in that session.
• Late Registration Fee - any swimmer registering after June 9^th, 2024 and/or part-way through a session will incur a 10% late fee.
• USA and MSI Membership Fees:

– All swimmers must have active USA Swimming and Minnesota Swimming memberships. You can check you swimmer’s status in your account information.

-If your swimmer’s membership is out of date, TUNA will notify you.

Volunteer Commitment Summer 2024 Session:

There are two components to the summer 2024 volunteer commitment:

1. June 15th-16^th Home Meet – We are hosting a two day meet on the mornings of June 15th & 16th, 2024. All families are required to fill a minimum of one volunteer position each day their swimmer is registered for.
2. 2024 Regional Championships July 12^th – 14th – Once again, we have the privilege of hosting one of the four Summer Minnesota Regional Championships. In order to have a successful championship meet all families are required to fill a minimum of one volunteer position each day their swimmer is registered for.

-Look for information regarding summer volunteer opportunities soon from our Volunteer Coordinators.

-You will notice that the volunteer requirement is a minimum number of positions to fill. We often have other volunteer opportunities outside of our swim meets – these extra opportunities will be communicated by our volunteer coordinator.

-a reminder that all families opting out of fulfilling their volunteer requirement will be charged a $250 fee at the end of the session.
