TUNA TRAINING TEAMS

The Tunas offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal to offer a blend of age and skill specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities. One of the goals coaches have is to create a strong peer taining group that will help motivate and create a sense of team and commitment among the swimmers. Each training level has a max number of swimmers in order to keep the coach/swimmer ratio effective. It is not the group your swimmer is in that makes the difference, it is the work that they do with in the group. When a traing group is full then there are no move ups into this group. This will create a stronger team over all as the expectations start to rise with in all the groups. Rarely do we do mid season move ups.
