Pre-Team Swim Clinic is an opportunity for new swimmers to learn what it feels like to be on a swim team. The clinic will run 4 days. Swimmers will work on stroke mechanics and technique, learn basic drills, work on approrpriate skills for the age/level of the swimmmer, meet coaches, make new friends and have fun at the same time. At the conclusion of the clinic, team-ready swimmers will receive a training team assignment for the spring season.
Who can attend this clinic:
- Swimmers 10 and Unders.
- Swimmers who have never been part of a team
- Swimmers who are interested in transferring from a NON-USA team.
- Swimmers transferring from another USA team who currently hold a MNSI membership. Swimmers 11 and older should attend a tryout with Coach Sharon
Requirements:
Swimmers should be able to swim 25 yards Backstroke and Freestyle with rhythmic breathing continuously and unaided.
Previous swim lesson experience is highly recommended.
A swim suit and goggles are required.
Caps will be provided and be required to be worn.
The Tuna Swim Club is a competitive swim team and we currently don't provide swim lessons. The clinic is not a lesson program.
